Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much respected facility in Jamaica Plain MA who is currently seeking ED RNs to assist them at their Hospital on a full time basis.

Details of the position include:

Location: Jamaica Plain, MA

Duration: 13 weeks to start with likelihood of extension

Facility Type: Hospital

Openings: 36 or 48 Hours/Week, EOW

4 - Day/Evening Shift Rotates

3 – Nights, 7PM-7:30AM

Start Date: Two weeks from offer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient’s care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.

• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.

• Develops, implements/coordinates and documents Education Plan for patient/family/ significant other

• Documents patient care according to standard procedure.

• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.

• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical setting.

• Helps stock and maintain cleanliness of Clinic

  QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices

• One year experience as a nurse preferred

• One year experience in a ED setting preferred.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable

• Current CPR if applicable
