Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Executive Assistant in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts

Executive Administration: 80% Review & sort through phone calls, emails, snail mail & other correspondence; Liaise between top executives, Board, major donors & other key stakeholders & the President. Staff the President during events, meetings, & conferences. This may include domestic & international travel. Perform expense reconciliations & tracking for Finance team; Complete projects & special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans as needed. Assist in drafting, & reviewing & copy-editing of documents, letters, & content in collaboration with the Communications Department for external communications & press needs; Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; building professional networks; & participating in professional organizations. Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, & redesigning processes; implementing changes. Calendar Management - Organize & maintain the President\'s schedule, including appointments, meetings, travel arrangements, & speaking engagements; Manage & screen all incoming communications for the President including emails, calls, & correspondence? prioritizing & drafting responses as needed, ensuring a timely & accurate communication; Arrange travel & meetings by developing itineraries & agendas; scheduling flights; booking other forms transportation; arranging lodging & meeting accommodations to ensure all logistics are handled seamlessly & align with the President?s preferences & schedule; Track hours & submit timecards in a timely manner; Personal Duties: 20% Handle personal tasks & errands, manage household affairs, & coordinate with service providers; Evening & weekend work may be required based on events & President needs; Support the President in any additional assignments & tasks as requested. A successful candidate must have the following skills & experiences: At least 3 years of experience as a personal assistant/assisting an executive or C-Suite office required; previous administrative experience preferred & experience with global, legal, &/or non-profit organizations is a plus; Awareness & interest in current events & issues relating to human rights around the world; A demonstrated passion & understanding of RFKHR?s mission & legacy; Ability to proactively anticipate needs & take independent action, using good judgment, to resolve issues; Demonstrated experience booking & coordinating domestic & international travel; Ability to travel at least four times a year; Ability to work from Hyannis Port, MA to support event preparation & President projects; High level of integrity & discretion in handling confidential information; Strong typing skills - feel comfortable note-taking & drafting up correspondence; Working knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) & ability to draft written content; Proficiency navigating & problem solving with systems such as Windows 10 OS & Apple products; Experience working on online platforms such as Zoom, G-suite, MS-Office suite, & Mac Compatible products; Microsoft Excel. Strong verbal & written communication skills; Strong attention to detail & able to scope out errors, including a willingness to own & fix mistakes; Exceptional time management, including the ability to manage multiple tasks & projects at once; Ability set goals & monitor progress towards goals; Strong work ethic - you?re flexible, patient, & able to stay gracious under pressure; Strong sense of teamwork & appreciation for inclusion - ability to build positive relationships with colleagues & stakeholders with different backgrounds, experiences, & perspectives; Preferred but not required qualifications: Experience working with CRMs such as Salesforce; Demonstrated exp. directly managing others intern , volunteers)
