Hy-Line Cruises Marketing Assistant in Hyannis, Massachusetts

Summary: The Marketing Assistant assists with creative and administrative tasks. The Assistant will work with creative content editing and updating, and will need to be self-motivated, task oriented, and able to work with a variety of media. The position will be assigned a list of tasks and will be working with the marketing team both in an out of an office setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform administrative tasks such as database management and mailings. Create content for social media, website, and promotional materials. Edit company website as directed, including adding or deleting copy and images. Assist with answering customer service questions via web chat Take photographs and videos as assigned. Set up marketing activities throughout the company as assigned. Licenses, Registrations, and/or Certifications: None Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate skill and working experience with computer software systems including Microsoft office. Experience with inDesign and Photoshop preferred. Photography skills a plus. Ability to stand for periods of time, walk, or easily move around in various locations on land and on company vessels. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Must be able to safely perform the essential duties for the position, with or without, reasonable accommodation. Typical Work Environments: Office setting and Harbor, marine (maritime) environment. Ferry and sightseeing cruise travel may be required. 16 hours/week February through October
