Courtyard Resort General Manager in Hyannis, Massachusetts
Summary - CYR hospitality general manager, or hotel general manager, is responsible for the overall success of the business, staff, and services. Their responsibilities may include: Financial management Assist in developing and managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and controlling costs to achieve financial objectives Sales and marketing Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, drive sales, and promote the business Communication Engaging on a day to day basis, with CYR owners/ guests and Board of Trustees. contractors, staff, and other parties to understand owner?s views, communicate offers, collect customer feedback, and relay instructions to employees. Attend Board of Trustees meetings as needed, prepare agenda and report all CYR related issues Compliance Ensuring the business is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, such as safety codes and health regulations Owners/Guests and Customer satisfaction Establishing standards for customer service and ensuring the best owners/guests experience possible Property maintenance Organizing and setting up preventive maintenance programs for all electrical and mechanical equipment, including general building works. Directly responsible for Maintenance, housekeeping and grounds/pool staff Other Requirements and Skills Proven experience as hospitality manager Hands-on experience in customer service or sales Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices Knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO) Proficient in MS Office and relevant software (e.g. ERP) Excellent organizational and leadership skills Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Problem-solving aptitude
