Your responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
As an SOC Hardware Integration Intern, you will work closely with our hardware engineers to integrate and validate SOC components, ensuring that all parts of the chip work together seamlessly. You will help with the integration process, testing, debugging, and ensuring the functionality of SOC systems in real-world applications. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in SOC integration and hardware development, while contributing to the next generation of chip technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the integration of various SOC components, including processors, memory subsystems, I/O interfaces, and peripherals.
Collaborate with the hardware team to ensure that different components of the SOC work together efficiently and meet system specifications.
Support integration of IP/ fabric, static check verification flows
Troubleshoot and debug integration issues, working with the team to identify root causes and propose solutions.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of integration documentation, reports, and configuration files.
Assist with the development and execution of automated tests to streamline integration processes.
Work with verification teams to ensure that integration targets meet quality and performance standards.
Participate in design reviews, offering feedback and suggestions to improve the overall integration process.
Learn and apply tools and methodologies for SOC integration, including hardware emulation and simulation platforms.
Support the integration of third-party IP blocks and custom-designed components into the SOC architecture.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to debug complex systems.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of digital logic design, SOC architecture, and system-level integration principles.
Knowledge with hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL) and digital design concepts.
Experience with hardware integration and testing tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, simulation software) is a plus.
Basic knowledge of the SOC development lifecycle, from design through integration and validation.
Knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting languages (Python, Perl, or TCL) is a plus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $40,000.00-$108,000.00 (Hourly Role)
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
