Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) The Center School - Holyoke, Massachusetts Job ID:4430323 Starting Date:Immediately Job Description The Center School, a part of the Positive Regard network with locations in Holyoke, MA and Chicopee, MA, seeks candidates for Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) position(s) While we are seeking applicants for Full Time employment (12 months/52 weeks per year, 40 hours per week), we would consider applicants who are seeking Per Diem or Part Time employment as well. The SLP-A position requires a Bachelor\'s Degree in Communication Disorders or a related field and licensure by the MA Division of Professional Licensure as a Registered Speech Language Pathology Assistant. The SLP-A provides services to classrooms as a communication specialist, by way of (1) adding to our curriculum learning that reflects the therapeutic language requirement of our students, (2) trains and mentors Interventionist staff to implement the curriculum, and (3) teaches these skills in a classroom setting. **Please note that candidates who are offered employment will be subject to background screening, to include: CORI, SORI, DCF, SAFIS (Fingerprinting) checks** Welcome to The Center School Holyoke Center School is a Full-Year private day school serving students ages 5-22 with a variety of special needs.
