RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with the YouthWorks employment Program and work closely with the Program Coordinator in ensuring that youth ages 14-25 are engaged and fully participating in the YouthWorks employment experience. Develop job opportunities for youth participants in the summer job programs through ongoing employer outreach and follow-up. Assist with application processing, providing orientations, weekly progress reports, timesheet processing and program evaluations based on the Massachusetts Work Based Learning plan. Complete program intake and case management activities, collecting and verifying required documentation for all youth participants. Perform daily check-ins on youth progress, collect timesheets, and address any program needs or concerns. Assess the progress of youth participants throughout the program; conducting daily/weekly contact with worksites and providing reasonable youth career counseling when appropriate. Maintain positive professional relationships with program participants and community employers. All other duties deemed necessary by the program supervisor.
