Viability Clubhouse Specialist/ Back-Up Clubhouse Driver in Holyoke, Massachusetts

**$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successfully completion of first 90 days) **

Position: Clubhouse Specialist 1/ Back-up Clubhouse Driver– Part Time

Location: Holyoke, MA

Rate of Pay: $19.55 per hour; plus $60 bi-weekly back-up driver stipend

Hours: 20 Hours per week

Schedule: Monday- Friday between 8:00am-4:00pm with flexibility to work 1 Saturday a month

Summary:

  • The Clubhouse Specialist develops and services employment relationships between clients and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities. Responsibilities include vocational guidance, job development, job placement, employer education, and customer relations. Work side by side with members, assisting with building career readiness skills, social skills, health and wellness, and the ability to become more self-sufficient. Individuals with human services, direct care, job coaching, and career counseling experience are strongly encouraged to apply!

    Qualifications:

  • High School/GED and 1 year of experience required, or an Associate's degree with 1 year of experience preferred.

  • Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required.

  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and a reliable vehicle

  • Must be willing to be the Clubhouse back-up driver which entails a pre-employment drug screening, CORI, physical, fingerprinting, and a satisfactory RMV driver record report.

Requirements:

  • Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential.

  • Must have a willingness to network and showcase relationship building skills

  • Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle.

  • Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices, and community organizations.
