A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As the First Shift Distribution Coordinator, you will help lead our distribution team p erform various warehouse duties . In this role, you will report to the Distribution Center Supervisor.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.
Skills You Bring:
Requires experience in shipping, receiving and stores, and reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred.
4-6 years of related experience.
Completes tasks in creative and effective ways.
Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
Determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
May provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel.
