To primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first-line supervisor responsible for providing technical advice in special access program security; classification management program; security violations, security education and awareness training; and security surveys across the organization. Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship Obtain & maintain Top Secret Security clearance This is designated Drug Testing Position (if applicable) Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable) Travel up to 15% Key Roles: Provides technical expertise in integrating policies and procedures for all security disciplines into program security efforts to mitigate risks of compromise, unauthorized disclosure, program/system information, and its components. Examines security initiatives, protection measures and processes for horizontal application across systems and organizational lines. Provides oversight of Hanscom SAP Complex Physical and Personnel Security Programs. Creates, assesses, and revises policies and procedures as needed to find ways to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency. This position is in the Special Programs Division, PEO Cyber & Networks Directorate (AFLCMC/HNJ). The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Chief of Policy & Training for the division's mission focus on Special Access Programs (SAP). This position will serve as the principal advisor to the Chief and Deputy Chief of Security, responsible for the development and training of a large civilian and contractor workforce, as well as principal author for numerous policy documents requiring internal and external stakeholder coordination. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): 1. In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, programs, procedures, and practices to plan and implement security programs in these areas. 2. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. 3. Ability to plan, organize, direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization. 4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 5. Mastery knowledge of security concepts, principles, practices to analyze, and resolve issues. 6. Skill in developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the assigned program. Education Additional Information
