Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort* Ski/Snowboard Repair Technician in Hancock, Massachusetts
Position Summary: The Repair Technician is responsible for providing efficient and complete service to guests regarding their equipment repair needs. There are full-time and part-time seasonal positions available either day or night. These positions are hourly. Responsibilities & Duties: - Becoming fully knowledgeable of all indemnified ski and snowboard equipment. - Accurately mounting, adjusting, and testing of ski and snowboard bindings. - Accurately filling out the appropriate paperwork for each repair transaction. - Tuning skis and snowboards according to manufactures specifications. - Familiarizing themselves with the usage of Binding Manufacturer Tech Manuals. - Adhere to the Tech Manuals as per their instructions. - Testing, repairing, and maintaining the rental shop equipment as per the maintenance requirements. - Safely learning the use of all tuning and testing equipment. - Understanding the repair shop payment processes as it applies to the taking and entering of all forms of payments into the point of sales. - Accurately processing and reconciling the daily transactions. - Advise guests on proper equipment instructions and usage when applicable. - Becoming knowledgeable of resort services. - Assist in trash removal, sweeping and cleaning of the repair shop. - Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor or Manager Qualifications: - 18 or over. - Guest and customer service oriented. - Punctual and prepared to perform work duties. - Professional and neat in appearance. - Safety conscious and oriented. - Available weekends and holidays.
