GREENFIELD - Senior Banking Advisor General Statement of Duties: The Senior Banking Advisor (Sr. BA) will perform teller and platform duties as required to ensure smooth branch operations and will have advanced knowledge of all functions. The Senior BA is expected to provide guidance, mentoring, and training to their team as needed. This position has supervisory authority and at the branch manager\'s discretion may be left in charge of an office. Essential Job Responsibilities Required to provide unparalleled customer service during each interaction through a high level of professionalism both in person and on the phone Will partner with other lines of business in making quality customer referrals Contributes to building a positive team environment Responsible for compliance and understanding of the Bank\'s policies, procedures, and legal guidelines, both new and existing Assumes responsibility for self-improvement through training courses (internal and external) as well as personal curiosity and inquisitiveness Required to work with management to bring in new business through relationship-based selling which will help achieve personal sales goals Process all customer requests at an expert level, including but not limited to all teller functions, wires, fraud, debit cards, research, and new accounts (consumer, small business, fiduciary: checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and money markets) Provides training in branch to all platform and teller positions as needed Will be responsible for meeting individual sales and service goals Advises customers on how our products and services can meet their financial needs Offers basic credit counseling as needed to help customers reach their financial goals Senior BAs have supervisory authority which may include policy exception, staff supervision, and system override capabilities. All authority given at branch manager discretion Additional responsibility, as needed by office, will be assigned by manager Desired Experience & Skills 5+ years of experience in a sales environment with a solid track record (including cross selling) 5+ years of banking or financial services experience 1+ year(s) experience in cash handling position that involved customer service Great interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills Ability to perform simple math such as interest calculations, percentages, multiplication, and division High School Diploma or equivalent. B.S. or Associates in Business or related field desired Ability to read and understand credit reports Consumer lending experience a plus Greenfield Savings Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
