PROGRAM FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT AT SALASIN PROJECT Western MA Training Consortium Salasin Project supports individuals and families that have experienced domestic violence. Salasin applies a wellness orientation to provide empowerment-based peer advocacy and assistance. We welcome applicants of all races; cultures; sexual orientations; gender expressions; abilities; and incomes; especially those with lived experiences of sexual and domestic violence; receiving basic needs assistance, and/or interacting with child protective services. People who identify as being in recovery from a history of substance misuse are encouraged to apply. Salasin is committed to recruiting; training and supporting staff who identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC). We will gladly provide training and mentoring as needed for candidates with lived experience who demonstrate a commitment and passion for the Salasin mission and values. Program Financial Administrative Assistant 15 hours/week; .375 FTE starting at \$25/hr (plus language stipend if applicable) Performs bookkeeping and basic accounting activities Reconcile General Ledger and Cost Center reports with financial spreadsheets Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions Compiles and verifies program fiscal data Data entry as needed in support of monthly and quarterly contract billing Demonstrated commitment to the values of the Salasin Project and the social justice goals of the Western MA Training Consortium Qualifications: At least one year experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role Advanced skills with Microsoft 365 including teams, word and excel required, including demonstrated experience with excel spreadsheets and financial functions Attention to detail with ability to spot numerical errors Email Salasin Project: Salasinproject@wmtcinfo.org to request a complete job description.
