GREENFIELD - SEASONAL POSITION Order Builder Compensation: \$20 an hour plus weekly incentive Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11am - 7:30pm The position is a seasonal role. It is scheduled to end 90 to 120 days from the hire date. Essential Responsibilities: Demonstrate a commitment to quality early care and education programs and sensitivity to the needs of culturally diverse families with lower incomes. Produce documentation of physical exam, MMR?s and TB risk upon hire and subsequently every two years. Obtain and maintain CPR and Emergency Pediatric First Aid certification according to EEC regulations. Become knowledgeable of and practice the Head Start Performance Standards, EEC Regulations, HS & ELP Service Delivery, and NAEYC criterion, as appropriate. Demonstrate basic computer skills, including competent use of program data system.. Ensure the appropriate supervision of children, including implementation of program protocols for the care of young children. Engage with families and specialists in implementing school readiness goals for children. Perform on-site meal preparation and clean up, maintaining health and safety standards. In coordination with teaching team, maintain safe and healthy indoor and outdoor environments for young children. Fill in for bus monitor as needed, completing daily passenger logs, pre and post trip bus inspections. Cover for other classrooms as needed. Provide child care for site Family Meetings. Attend all appropriate program workshops and meetings. Adhere to agency confidentiality policies. Maintain good in-house relationships with all other staff members. Basic Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull 50+ lbs, reach above head height, stand, walk, bend, and kneel. Job Description The Order Builder is responsible for preparing customer orders for delivery. In this role, the Order Builder will work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team of dedicated individuals to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for accurately building and staging orders based on a pick ticket for loading onto delivery trucks Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation Use appropriate manual or powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) to move product and materials from/to designated locations Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to product age, quality and safety Responsible for meeting productivity requirements Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse Job Requirements High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred Minimum 6 months of general work experience required Prior warehouse experience preferred Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance Must have the ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination Must have the ability to read information in small, medium and large print Benefits & Perks: 401K with Company Match, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Employee Referral Bonuses, Fitness Reimbursements, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Discounts, Scholarship Opportunities, and so much more! *Benefits may vary by position, location, and union governance*
