GREENFIELD Cafeteria Floater This is a full-time Cafeteria Worker position that will float across the district where extra help is needed, as assigned by the Managers and Food Service Director. This position will work a minimum of 6 hours per day. DUTIES: - Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and as directed - Follow strict food safety, allergen, nutrition, and portion control guidelines - Record accurate meal counts - Handle money accurately and cash out students and adults; other reporting as needed - Fill in at any GPS-operated kitchen as needed - Any other duties as assigned by the managers or the director SALARY: As per the negotiated contract and based on experience HOURS: Monday-Friday, 6 hours/day* (7:00 AM - 1:00 PM) *Hours may vary with float responsibilities, from a minimum of 6 hours/day up to 8 hours/day. QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma - Ability to work independently without constant supervision - ServSafe certified, or be able to pass the exam within one year - Ability to operate a POS cash register system accurately - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Ability to maintain good working relationships with students and staff - Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds using proper lifting techniques - Prior experience working in a commercial kitchen environment preferred - Such reasonable alternatives as deemed acceptable At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. High School/Trade School degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required
