DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION Performs various technical duties to administer complex cardio-pulmonary care treatments to patients according to the physicians\' verbal or written orders. Experience: - At least one year experience preferred working in the respiratory field Education and Training: - High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. - Associates and/or Bachelors degree preferred. - Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy Program. License, Certification & Registration: - MARTL - MA Respiratory Therapist license - NBRC-RRT- National Board Respiratory Care RRT - CPR. - ACLS preferred. Other Requirements: - Ability to cross train in the Cardio side of department ie: EKG, Stress tests, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors and EEGs. - Ability to follow the AARC guidelines. **positions also available at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield and Satellite Emergency Facility in North Adams**
