Fairview Hospital Registered Respiratory Therapist in Great Barrington, Massachusetts
DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION Performs various technical duties to administer complex cardio-pulmonary care treatments to patients according to the physicians\' verbal or written orders. POSITION QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- At least one year experience preferred working in the respiratory field
Education and Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Associates and/or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
License, Certification & Registration:
- MARTL - MA Respiratory Therapist license
- NBRC-RRT- National Board Respiratory Care RRT
- ACLS preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to cross train in the Cardio side of department ie: EKG, Stress tests, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors and EEGs.
- Ability to follow the AARC guidelines.
