Fairview Commons Assistant Director of Nursing in Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Qualifications: - Holds current nursing license in accordance with State regulations. RN preferred. - Five years Long Term care experience preferred. - 2-3 years of nursing management experience preferred. Acute hospital medical/surgical experience desirable. - Holds and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with Nursing Standards of Practice. - Ability to manage people. - Ability to communicate effectively, in writing, as well as verbally. - Ability to successfully relate and respond to the needs of management, employees and residents. - Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the nursing department Qualifications Education Required Associates or better in Nursing or related field. Experience Required 3 years: Supervisor or Manager in acute or long term care. 1 year: Training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
