Viability Program Supervisor in Gloucester, Massachusetts

* $500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days) *

Position: Program Supervisor

Location: Peabody/Gloucester, MA

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Day Shift

Summary:

  • The Program Supervisor oversees all aspects of an MRC and Pre-Ets vocational program. This includes orientation, training, supervision of program staff, marketing and referral development, funder relationship-building, program organization, program expansion, preparation, and training of staff. The program supervisor also maintains a caseload ensuring participants’ access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities by providing individualized job development, placement, and coaching.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of previous experience in a supervisory role required.

  • Associate’s degree with five years related experience OR Bachelor’s degree with three years related experience with 1 year being in a supervisory role.

  • Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.

    Requirements:

  • Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential.

  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle.

  • Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.
