Job Description
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
Organize, prepare, and implement planned and emergency maintenance work activities for the department.
Generate and schedule maintenance work orders, track department objectives, and generate reports and analysis.
Assist the Plant Engineer as required and interact with the production department and maintenance team.
Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a higher level of safety.
Inventory control of parts and ordering assistance.
Advise or interpret information for operations and maintenance personnel and provide feedback in the form of metrics, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Exchange information with supervisors, distributors, equipment manufacturers and vendors or contractors
In coordination with Plant Engineer, guide maintenance personnel in planned and unplanned work activities.
Assign work to Maintenance Technicians and follow up to ensure that the work was completed.
Requirements
The qualified candidate will be a junior or senior in the fall of 2025 with a degree focus in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental)
