Job Title: Shipping Associate

Job Description

Duties include verifying and keeping records of shipments. Counting, weighing, and measuring of incoming and outgoing items confirmed against bill of lading, invoices, and work orders. Packing and unpacking of material and routing to departments. Utilizing UPS shipping software. Knowledge of metals and measuring equipment is a plus (micrometers, tape measure). Machine operating and hand deburring are also part of the responsibilities.

Hard Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Experience in an industrial environment (ideally warehouse)

• Ability to read a tape measure

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Franklin, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

Warehouse/shop floor environment. This candidate will be working in a small team of 2-3 people.
