We are in search of a Credit Processing Specialist to join our team based in the greater Milford Massachusetts area. This role serves a crucial function within our operations, focusing on the accurate processing of various member/vendor credits and the maintenance of precise customer credit records. The Credit Processing Specialist acts as a final verification point for information supplied by the vouchering staff, ensuring all documents are ready for processing.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process a variety of credits for all vendors/members.

• Assist colleagues as necessary and take on additional tasks as required.

• Carry out general office duties as needed.

• Undertake the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner.

• Utilize specific system skills, such as P-21 and DocStar, as well as MS Office Suite for efficient task completion.

• Ensure high accuracy in data entry tasks and maintain a high level of organization.

• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and a proactive attitude.the Milford

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of two years of experience in a credit processing role or similar financial services role.

• Demonstrate proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling customer queries effectively.

• Have experience with billing functions, able to accurately manage invoices and payments.

• Show strong computer data entry skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed.

• Exhibit advanced data entry skills, including numeric data entry.

• Have experience handling high-volume data entry tasks and able to maintain accuracy under pressure.

• Proven ability to perform data entry tasks efficiently and effectively.

• Familiarity with Epicor software would be advantageous.

• Experience with rebate processing and understanding of related financial implications.

• Ability to work in a team environment while also demonstrating independent initiative.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Possess a strong understanding of confidentiality principles due to the sensitive nature of data handled.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

• Demonstrate problem-solving skills, able to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changes in procedures or processes.

• Ability to handle complex calculations and financial data accurately.

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
