In this position you will be under the direction of the Security Control Center Coordinator and the client's Corporate Security Manager, this position will oversee the operations of the Security Service Centers (SSC). Develop, maintain, and track SSC performance metrics. Provide consistent and effective training to SSC Operators. Identify, research, and resolve technical problems using established troubleshooting steps. Work proactively to ensure effective alarm management and reduce false alarms. Perform and document application installs and upgrades on all department systems. Oversee the assessment and notification process for all incidents. Monitor open source and proprietary information tools and use the mass notification system to alert personnel as required. Perform other security-related tasks as required.
Essential Functions

Duties and responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
Operational management of the Security Service Centers
Ensure compliance with client's Corporate Security expectations and procedures
Provide consistent and effective training to SSC Operators
Assist with the administration and maintenance of the physical security systems
Provide technical support to security systems end users
Review maintenance logs regularly
Manage the security device audit process to ensure security system applications and hardware is tested and is configured and functioning per client's standards
Work with project managers, client's Security Systems Manager, Facilities, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve identified systems issues
Perform and document application installs and upgrades on all department computers.
Provide systems training for new personnel as directed
Work directly with Operators to ensure effective alarm management and emergency response
Review alarm activity and system malfunctions to reduce false alarms
Monitor open source and propriety information tools to identify potential impact to client's business
Using the mass notifications system, coordinate the flow of incident and risk based communications to impacted personnel and key stakeholders
Review incident reports and notifications created and distributed by the SSC Operators to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Distribute corrections and counsel/train SSC Operators as required
Create and provide reports to Corporate Security management and investigations personnel as required
Establish and maintain a database of security contacts to be used for communications between the client's business units and corporate security
Perform other related tasks as required
Minimum Education/Experience at Entry
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. 5 years of progressive, security-related experience, with a minimum of one (1) year management or systems experience required. Proficiency with electronic access control applications/hardware and familiarity with IP surveillance systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
Ability to stay calm in emergency and stressful situations
Good organizational skills
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the company and across diverse cultures
Strong understanding of electronic access control applications and hardware (CCure preferred)
Experience with configuring and maintaining IP surveillance systems (Verint preferred)
Understanding of basic networking concepts
Understanding of security operations.
Ability to be an effective leader and member of project teams.
Strong time management and multitasking skills as well as attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to concisely and effectively address questions and provide subject matter expertise on systems and procedures
Desire for continual personal development and operational development
