Staples Senior Product Manager II in Framingham, Massachusetts

We utilize online merchandising and campaigns executed by both humans and automated tools to convert new and returning website visitors into customers. We work end-to-end with our sales, merchandising, finance, logistics and technology teams to provide a world-class, holistic digital experience, growing profitable results in a fun and rewarding work environment. This position primarily focuses on understanding current technical architecture, how it impacts current customer offerings and evaluate what needs to be prioritized to deliver best customer experience. This individual should continuously evaluate customer delivery needs (deliver to home or pickup location, pickup from pickup location) and work with internal teams to deliver the right customer experience.This position interacts with other cross functional teams like Software Development, Project Management, Quality Assurance, etc. to implement and deliver tools and processes to meet business needs. Each day will be fast-paced, challenging, rewarding and meaningful.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define requirements from Business Stakeholders at all levels and translate them to Agile teams for implementation.

  • Write and prioritize stories and develop business cases where required

  • Manage cross-functional relationships, communication and negotiation.

  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices for current products to shape how to go about meeting business needs while performing research and providing recommendations for enhancements to current suite of products.

  • Identify key needs, perform gap analysis, assess new product ideas / innovations, determine market opportunity and participate in prioritization of initiatives.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a related field; Prior direct/indirect people management experience

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.

  • Experience in the specific industry of the hiring company.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
