We are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner with over 8 years of experience to join our fully remote team, with potential for contract-to-permanent placement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agile and SAFe delivery frameworks, along with proficiency in JIRA and Confluence. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, collaborating closely with the Product Manager to understand customer needs, and driving sprint goals through detailed user stories. strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment are essential, as you will engage with all levels of leadership.

responsibilities:

Defining team product backlog of user stories, including backlog prioritization, refinement, and creating acceptance criteria. Providing detailed guidance to the development team for successful product delivery

· Partnering with the Product Manager to understand customer needs, pain points, workflows, and priorities to translate into features and user stories.

· Driving iteration (sprint) goals and content via prioritized user stories

· Providing product/domain knowledge that guides, informs, and offers insight into product enhancements, maintenance, and efficiencies.

· Providing product decisions including functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs); accepts user stories and iteration increments.

What you will need:

· Strong and relevant experience in an agile/SAFe delivery framework (required)

· JIRA/Confluence experience (required)

· Proven success working in a highly collaborative environment.

· Ability to drive process by working through the gray.

· Ability to navigate team environments utilizing firsthand expertise

· Outstanding communication skills

· Experience communicating to all levels of leadership.
