$30 per hour plus shift and weekend differentials for RN's with two years of experience
Integrate values of Carmelite Philosophy of Care in all job assignmentsThe registered nurse (RN) provides care to our residents while adhering to the standards of nursing practiceKnowledgeably and completely perform basic nursing skillsAdminister and document medications and treatments per the physician’s order and accurately record all care providedOrder medications as necessaryReview and revise resident care plans as necessary and as required by regulationsConduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to charge nurseObtain report from nurse he/she is relieving and record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessaryProvide report to nurse coming on duty, including sufficient information for follow-up action if necessaryListen to resident, family, or physician concerns and initiate corrective action and/or report concerns to Charge NurseObserve, evaluate and document all changes in the residents’ conditionsNotify physician, when necessary, of changes in the residents’ condition, weight, medication errors, medications not available, abnormal laboratory/X-ray results and other unusual observationsMaintains required documentation per Federal, State and Company Policy using Point Click, Care electronic health record software. Observe infection control proceduresIdentify safety hazards, initiate immediate “life saving” measuresProvide clinical supervision of nursing assistants providing direct resident careCommunicate in a positive and helpful manner with other staff, residents and family membersRespect the dignity of each person Education/Experience:
