A growing, publicly traded organization is in need of a Junior Attorney/Law Graduate/Someone studying for their JD/Paralegal. In this role you will work with the HR team on various employment law matters. This is a full-time (8 hours/day during standard business) temporary role expected to last for 3 months in duration with the potential for an extension. Work is in-office/onsite in Framingham Tuesday and Wednesday. Experience in HR, employment law, immigration law, or with a related government agency is preferred but not required. Position includes an hourly pay rate as well as comprehensive benefits.

salary: $30 - $35 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Support administration of I-9 forms, E-Verify, and related immigration issues

• Direct subpoenas and external requests for information to the proper departments

• Facilitate communication with state labor agencies

• Conduct research on a variety of employment topics such as criminal code, wage and hour laws, minor labor laws, protected job leave laws, etc., and communicate findings appropriately

• Other tasks or projects, large or small, as assigned
