The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate General Manager for the Residence Inn Boston Framingham, which features banquet space and a restaurant. The General Manager will oversee daily operations and provide leadership to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This role requires a strong background in Food & Beverage and Banquets. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer an incentive package up to 20% of the base salary.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all hotel operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Oversee and direct the restaurant and banquet operations, including staff management.

Implement and adhere to company policies and standards, while driving service excellence and balanced scorecard performance.

Develop and manage sales and marketing initiatives to boost hotel performance.

Lead, mentor, and develop the executive team and department heads, including performance evaluations and professional development.

Address guest inquiries and resolve concerns to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.

Review operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Implement corrective action plans as needed.

Ensure compliance with brand standards and financial targets.

Serve as the primary liaison to the JNR corporate office.

Recruit, interview, and train team members to build a high-performing team.

Monitor and enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and overall guest experience.

Role Requirements:

Mandatory previous experience as a General Manager in a franchised hotel.

Preferred experience with Marriott or Starwood branded hotels.

Proficiency with Marriott/Starwood systems and processes is highly desirable.

Experience:

Hotel General Manager: 3 years (Required)

Marriott Brand experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Knowledge of banquets and restaurant operations: 2 years (Preferred)

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary plus incentive package up to 20% of base salary
