Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Controller based in Framingham, Massachusetts. This role will involve a blend of remote and in-office work. As a Controller, you will be entrusted with the execution of a variety of accounting functions, including processing cash disbursements and receipts, maintaining timekeeping software updates, and handling client collections and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations within the accounting department, including recording transactions, updating records, and ensuring compliance with client contracts.

• Execute routine accounting services to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.

• Engage in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using ERP System and other software packages.

• Maintain accurate employee profiles and participate in payroll reviews.

• Update staff assignments and contract changes in the timekeeping software.

• Communicate with clients regarding collections and other financial matters.

• Perform monthly reconciliation of bank items, departmental, and general ledger accounts.

• Prepare and enter journal entries to maintain comprehensive electronic/paper files.

• Generate draft financial and management reports for review and analysis.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Must be able to effectively perform Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes is required

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Auditing skills are highly desirable

• Must be well-versed in Budget Processes

• Proficiency in managing General Ledger is mandatory

• Experience in Bank Account Reconciliation is crucial

• Must be capable of performing Month-end Journal Entries efficiently
