Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client seeking a CFO. For immediate interview CONTACT VICTOR MULLER AT 508 205 2136. The CFO must have Real Estate Industry experience, an ability to work well with the CEO, board members and other senior executives, as well as strong analytical, strategic-planning, operational and communication skills. What you get to do every day

• Strategically manage the accounting and finance functions

• Handle all relationships with vendors

• Examine the organization's operations and determine if cash flow is appropriate

• Govern accounting policies, procedures and internal controls

• Manage all finance personnel

• Preside over independent auditor relationships

• Recognize and control insurance requirements and business risks

• Oversee financial systems implementations and upgrades

• Manage relationships with investors and investment institutions

• Verify that staff comply with state and federal laws and company's policies

• Recommend improvements to continue the integrity of a company's financial information

• Hire, train and retain accounting and finance staff

  Requirements

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE A MUST

• Public accounting experience a plus

• 5+ years' management experience

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and IIA standards

• Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• 10+ years' experience in accounting or finance

• MBA, CPA, CGMA or CMA preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
