The Fresh Market Assistant Kitchen Manager in Framingham, Massachusetts
Ensuring all guests are greeted and proactively assisted in an engaging manner with accurate and timely information Having the knowledge to make product/service recommendations to guests and accommodating their special requests Managing order guides/ordering deadlines for all ingredients, supplies and beer and wine for the Square Properly receiving/stocking of goods that follow rotation standards when replenishing product levels Manage product to reduce shrink/damage Forecast and maintain store teams by collaborating with the Kitchen Manager and Talent Acquisition in the sourcing, selecting, hiring and training of new team members Help build sales and profitability of department Partner with the Kitchen Manager to write and manage weekly schedule for team members in the Square to ensure a superior guest experience Support the kitchen manager in managing sales, profitability, margin generated in the Square Help to create food production schedules to ensure all policies and procedures are followed to ensure food safety and quality Conduct weekly inventory review Guarantee the cleaning schedule is followed for all cases within the Square Ensure merchandising of product is consistent with plan-o-grams Certify that equipment is maintained properly, serviced regularly and any maintenance issues are communicated in a timely manner Provide weekly feedback to the stake holders on operating the Square to make any necessary adjustments quickly Ensure that your team members are adhering to TFM standards and policies Ensure department adherence to all safety requirements and protocols, including food safety, per TFM policies, and per lay
