The Arc of Opportunity Quality Assurance Specialist in Fitchburg, Massachusetts

Provides administrative and clerical support for quality assurance functions by preparing reports and other necessary information. Supports the electronic file management system (iCentrix) system for all individuals served. Acts as the primary person responsible for day-to-day management of the records database, user initial and ongoing support, reporting on client records compliance, analysis of electronic record utilization, and technical problem solving with intervention. Works with other members of the quality assurance team to perform various quality assurance functions in an accurate, timely and efficient manner, using computerized systems.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm (30 hr/week) hours are flexible

Responsibilities:

• Audits electronic medical records (EMR), HCSIS, and other systems daily, weekly, monthly, and as needed.

• Set up new user accounts and terminate users for various systems and databases to include keeping the employee data up to date related to QA functions.

• Monitors HCSIS database and create reports to ensure all required information is submitted and finalized in a timely manner.

• Provides day to day notifications to staff users around systems maintenance and alerts.

• Act as the Liaison between iCentrix and end users at The Arc of Opportunity

• Facilitates meetings with iCentrix Engineering teams.

• Collects and compiles various data entry into reports related to quality enhancement and compliance metrics on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.

• Demonstrates high levels of integrity maintaining all agency and HIPPA privacy protocols.

• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance or CPO

Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license, acceptable CORI/SORI/Driving record are always required during employment with The Arc of Opportunity.

• Associate degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Services, IT highly preferred. Other related certifications/degrees considered.

• Three years of applicable experience in lieu of degree preferred.

• Quality assurance, electronic medical records, and administrative experience managing multiple databases.

• Good written and oral communication abilities and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, software applications, and electronic medical records
