BASIC FUNCTION: Maintenance & administration of varied facility systems
Key REPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all facets of daily maintenance, repair update and training for varied technical systems and/or using systems in the support of the facilities dept.
Visit all MOC sites and personnel, as needed, to update, repair and or move/add/change their devices and technical systems
Assist local Facilities Assistants as needed, especially in the maintenance, upkeep and administration of building or facility systems.
Utilize GPS and other tools in tracking and management of Fleet needs
Repair and/or coordinate repairs
Physical infrastructure of employee workstations, VOIP, HVAC control, A/V and building security systems including locks ands keys
User level adjustments and trainings on these varied systems
Routine verifications of systems parameters and controls, ie verifying user lists of access systems, testing phone call routing, and so on.
Planning and assisting of systems moves and changes, especially as involved with construction, remodel and/or staff move projects.
Coordinate with program staff to schedule system needs and building readiness in conjunction with staff and client schedules.
Maintain communications with staff, vendors, management and others using email, ticketing and other systems, in person communications and other communication tools, as required.
Collaborate with contractors and other professionals during repairs, installs and other projects as necessary.
Assist Facilities Manager and VP of Facilities in local initiatives such as implementation and update of site-specific emergency plans, review and maintenance of varied local fleet needs, status updates and varied needs of local construction and realty projects, etc.
Other duties as assigned within scope of position
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Must have acceptable Background Record Check
Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation, with ability to travel within the facilities throughout the day as needed
Must have acceptable MA Driver’s record
Basic knowledge of cabling, mounting, installations, and repair of common building systems and structures
Experienced and able to use hand tools, electrical tools
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Ability to climb and work from a ladder, while practicing proper safety
Display strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Must be dependable, organized and self-motivated
Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, lift items and/or equipment, either on own or with the assistance of other lifting/moving equipment
Position will be about 50% seated at a desk (hybrid considered for high performer), and 50% mobile within the North Central MA area, for on site repairs and installs of varied devices
