30 hours per week full year role.

About This Opportunity: The Dishwashers role is to remove and return all classroom utensils and containers and wash and dry these items according to the regulations of the Board of Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Dishwasher is responsible for picking up each classroom’s carrier containing utensils, serving bowls and inserts used in preparation or serving of breakfast and lunch.

  • The Dishwasher maintains an organized method of cleaning each classroom’s items to ensure against lost/misplaced items.

  • To follow the method for washing and sanitizing the items used to meet the standards required by the Board of Health.

  • The dishwasher is responsible for keeping the work area-sink, sink drainer and floor clean, free of food and dry.

  • To communicate in a caring and friendly manner with children, staff and parents.

  • Have a good working knowledge of MOC policies and procedures, Head Start/Early Head Start, EEC licensing regulations.

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Access to reliable transportation

  • Job site/assignments may change based upon program needs

  • Must have a suitable Background Record Check (BRC)

  • Fulfillment of all specific health and safety requirements (staff physical every 2 years, with evidence of Mantoux and MMR test, OSHA, First aid and CPR

  • Must be in good physical and mental health and be able to lift and carry children and/or related equipment, bend, squat, kneel and climb stairs
