Starting at $20.06/hour. $1,000 sign on bonus available

Schedule: M-F 8-4pm

Ensures safety and stability of the school environment by providing direct support and coaching to students who are experiencing a crisis. Provides in vivo training and real-time feedback to staff on proper de-escalation strategies and effective use of PBIS with students. Models positive relationships with student by facilitating and participating in activities with students. Provides supervision to Direct Care Staff and works collaboratively with other departments. This position will report to the School Principal.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must have a valid drivers license

• Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or other related field required OR 12 years relevant work experience in Human Services may replace degree

• Minimum of five years’ experience working with youth including 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role required

Schedule:

• Must be able to attend a 2 week paid orientation, which runs Monday-Friday, 8AM - 4PM in Rutland, MA

• Schedule following Training will be M-F 8-4pm in Fitchburg, MA
