Sales Associate for Fall River Farmers\' Markets June through October Responsibilities: Assist co-workers to Unload the truck of the tent, tables, and products Display vegetables, fruits, herbs, and plants with signs and banners Greet customers and provide friendly customer service Maintain a high level of product knowledge to educate customers about the products and the farm\'s growing practices Sell products, and maintain displays to be clean, organized, and attractive Pack up the truck with the tent, tables, signs, banners, and display of products that do not sell Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, Requirements: Strong communication skills to be able to inform the customers about the farm and products Experience eating farm-fresh produce preferred, and/or a willingness to learn to be able to inform the customers the best way to use and cook the products Strong math skills using scale and calculator to tally customers\' total sales and give back the customers\' appropriate change Multilingual is a plus (Portuguese, Spanish) Physical/manual dexterity and strength allow for the performance of farm tasks such as Lifting and carrying loads up to 50 pounds Standing for extended periods Working outside in the sun and/or rain Working quickly and efficiently
