Family Service Association - Fall River Children’s Clinician in FALL RIVER, Massachusetts

We have an excellent full time opportunity for a Children’s Clinician to provide outpatient treatment to individual/families of the Behavioral Health Center in an office and/or outreach basis .
Duties and responsibilities include:
See children and their parent/guardian as assigned for assessments, for evaluations and for ongoing treatment in an office and or outreach basis.
Attend case conferences and multi-disciplinary meetings. Maintain caseload as assigned to perform assessment, treatment, planning and ongoing psychotherapy.
The Clinician should be knowledgeable and experienced providing individual therapy to children and in the use of several of the following treatment modalities; individual, family, and group. Make referrals to other resources, agencies, clinics, and hospitals as needed.
The Clinician may be called upon to conduct seminars and to participate in the clinic staff training program and be available as a consultant on clinical work issues.
Supervision by the LICSW or LMHC Supervisors will be provided to the clinician to meet requirements of the agency and licensing bodies.
Provide on-call triage to clients of FSA’s Behavioral Health Center on a rotating basis. Each on call shift is weekly, Tuesday to Tuesday from 5pm to 9am weekdays and 24 hours per day on weekends and holidays. Clinicians are reimbursed at a rate of $50.00 per week per on-call rotation week.
Submit a timesheet biweekly.
Full-time Clinicians receive 3 weeks Paid Time off and 11 Paid Holidays. Paid Time off must be used by June 30th of each fiscal year unless the clinician starts in the final quarter of the fiscal year. Such person will have until October 1st of the next fiscal year to take accrued PTO. Full time Clinicians will accrue 15 PTO days per fiscal year. They will also have the opportunity to accrue an additional 5 PTO days a year by increasing their productivity to 58 billable units per pay period. Full-time clinicians receive an incentive rate of $26.00 for each billable unit hour of services provided above 58 Units hours of service per pay period – adjusted for full PTO days and Holidays. Incentive pay and additional PTO Time will be accrued and paid monthly.

Education and Experience:
Must be a MA LICSW (or license eligible) with a MSW from an educational institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Or Master Degree in counseling education, counseling psychology or rehab counseling from an accredited educational institution and must have two (2) years full-time supervised clinical experience in a multi-disciplinary behavioral health setting subsequent to obtaining Master’s Degree. Documented internship and other clinical experience may be substituted for post-graduate professional experience. Must be MA LMHC (or license eligible or have plans to become eligible)
