Aerotek Accounting Analyst in Everett, Massachusetts

Top Financial Services firm out of Everett, MA is seeking a Junior Accounting Analyst. No previous experience required.Description:

  • Qualified candidate will be in an entry level position that will be responsible for accurate completion of daily, monthly, weekly asset reconciliations, performing reconcilements on holdings, accruals, trades and cash balances.

  • Candidate will verify accuracy of client statements at month end and ensure that investment fund information is accurately reported in client month end statements.

  • Candidate will also complete ad hoc reports to meet client deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or similar

  • Previous banking/financial service experience NOT required, but would be a huge plus (internships included)

  • Coursework within the following areas a huge plus: Financial Services, Mutual Funds, Stocks, Bonds, or similar

  • Strong MS Excel skills - Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

  • Willingness to learn

  • Strong desire to enhance skills/knowledge within financial services space
