Reports to: Vice President of Indoor Air Quality
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions
-Immediately answer/respond to incoming customer calls.
-Communicate with and understand the needs and requirements of homeowners, industrial hygienists, prime contractors and/or project owners regarding their indoor air quality needs.
-Prospect for new clients based on our growth strategy
-Make site visits, take photos, prepare proposals, close the sales cycle, and communicate with the EnviroTech/EnviroVantage Operations Team. At times you will need to analyze blueprints, specifications, site photos, and other documents to prepare proposals.
-Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients to increase bid opportunities.
-Work closely with Project Management to ensure estimating methodology and all project knowledge is transferred appropriately to the operations team.
-Meet monthly forecast and sales volume and sufficient gross to meet profit objectives
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position not responsible for directly supervising any employees
POSITION TYPE
This is a salary + commission, exempt position
TRAVEL
You will be a road warrior! You will visit with multiple customers per day. Most customers are within 1 1.5 hours of our Stoneham location but certain projects may require additional driving. You can expect to be on the road 5+ hours per day.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
5+ years of combined sales & cost estimating experience in various construction trades, indoor air quality, fire / water mitigation or remediation, HVAC duct cleaning, or demolition required.
Advanced knowledge of construction principles preferred
Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook,) required
Strong working knowledge of NADCA ACR 2013 is preferred
Strong working knowledge of iicrc S500, S520, or NORMI is preferred
CERTIFICATIONS
IICRC, ACAC, NADCA, or NORMI preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Typical office activities
Walking, long periods of driving, sitting, standing, bending
Using hands to operate objects, computers and other electronic equipment
Lifting/handling computers and related equipment (typically not more than 25 pounds)
Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus
Moderate noise level
