About Damien\'s Food Pantry Located in Southeastern Massachusetts, Damien?s Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization serving households in the Bristol, Plymouth, and Barnstable counties by providing food to people experiencing food insecurity, promoting education and hunger awareness in our community, and providing information to guests regarding other community resources. We collaborate with other organizations that share the mission to address food insecurity. About the Role & Opportunity We seek an energized, community-oriented individual to fill the position of Executive Director. The ideal candidate is passionate about food security, poverty, and community. They have a background in leading nonprofits, ideally around food security. They understand the social systems perpetuating hunger in our community and the greater state of Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will succeed in fundraising experience that includes activating government, individual, and philanthropic funders. As the leader of a growing organization, the Executive Director plays many roles to support the growth and direction of the organization. These roles include fundraising, volunteer stewardship, strategic planning, fostering community relations, and working with the Board of Directors and other stakeholders to determine the organization\'s future. Working at Damien\'s Pantry This is a full-time, onsite position located in Wareham, MA. The organization has just opened a new center and community garden, making this an exciting time to join for someone energetic and interested in solving interesting and varied challenges while quickly growing one?s skill set with on-the-job learning. They?ll also have the chance to enhance community outreach with programming like monthly nutritional conferences. The salary for this position is between \$80 and \$100k/year. We also offer a benefit package. There will be an initial screen and then two interviews, each lasting 45-60 minutes. The priority deadline is June 15, 2024, with an ideal start date of July 2024. Applications will be accepted, and interviews will take place on a rolling basis until filled.
