Maybury Material Handling Service Coordinator in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts

Service Coordinator Summary Title: Service Coordinator ID: 1153 Location: East Longmeadow, MA Department: Service Description Maybury Material Handling is looking for a dynamic team player who has a knack for organization and multitasking to join our fast-paced, customer-centric environment. At Maybury Material Handling, we are dedicated to providing high-quality and timely service to our customers. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our operations by receiving and distributing work orders for a team of Road Service Technicians, scheduling and coordinating activities between the Service and Parts departments, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support. Your key responsibilities in this position will be: Receives and processes incoming service requests; assigns and schedules Service Technicians to service calls and relays messages and any special instructions. Opens service work orders in our system by entering assigned Service Technician, service order number and call status; generates purchase orders and links to service calls. Establishes priorities for specific customer service requests; revises service schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities and availability and/or capability of Service Technicians and parts. Reviews preventive maintenance (PM) reports, schedules appointments and follow-ups with Service Technicians to ensure 100% completion. Monitors open Service Calls and Parts Order status; follows up on completion with Service Technicians and customers. Prepares service quotations and develops an in-depth understanding of each customer?s policies and service contract to ensure all internal policies, procedures and systems adhere to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience. Dispatcher experience in a similar service industry and knowledge of material handling and/or automotive products are a plus. The following skills are a must for this role: Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and make quick decisions. Exceptional organizational, customer service and phone skills required. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to think critically and take initiative to solve problems as they arise. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer required.
