The Job:

As a Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd shift , you’ll be part of our Industrial team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:

• Provide clear direction to support plant-wide goals and initiatives.

• Participate in EH&S incident reporting including near miss, accident investigations and corrective action.

• Support continuous improvement projects and drive lean manufacturing principles.

• Develop staffing plans based on forecasted demand, including the hiring of new employees and the redeployment of current staff throughout the facility accounting for staffing and demand variance.

• Facilitate onboarding and training for all new hires, working in conjunction with Human Resources.

• Manage employee time and attendance by maintaining attendance records and PTO usage.

• Serve as a change agent in the implementation and execution of new processes that increase efficiency and on-time delivery.

• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, scrap transactions and production transactions.

• Take an active role in the professional development of themselves and their team members.

• Manage employee performance and development through the annual review processes.

The Person:

• 5+ years experience in a Manufacturing Operations environment

• 5+ years managing a team

• Experience with EHS, Safety, Delivery, Quality, people and cost model
