FOLDER GLUER OPERATOR Job description Local press manufacturer currently seeking a Folder Gluer Operator to add to their team! 1st shift, full time, temp-hire opportunity! The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery such as Bobst Vision and/or Omega machines to fold and glue paper products. Previous experience and knowledge with folding/glue machines is preferred and a mechanical background with machine operation experience is a plus! Duties: Operate, set up and adjusting of Bobst & Omega machines to fold and glue printed materials according to specifications Inspect folded materials for quality and accuracy Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure proper folding Assist with packaging finished products Maintain a clean and organized work area -Perform routine preventative maintenance -Lifting up to 45 lbs and position requires frequent standing, bending and stooping all day Requirements: Previous experience with machine operation or printing environment preferred Ability to operate machinery such as folders, presses, and packaging equipment Knowledge of Baumer, Parfa and International right-angle gluers is a plus!
