Provides customized and personalized childcare for the child in the home. Bathing and dressing child. Assisting with language acquisition and development. Providing developmentally appropriate educational games. Teaching letters, numbers, and colors. Teaching manners and other socially appropriate behavior. Doing arts and crafts; reading books Taking child to parks and playgrounds Organizing motor-skills activities Administers one-on-one care and meets the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of the child. Contributes to a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which the child thrives and develops. Keeps the child\'s areas neat and tidy and does the child\'s laundry. When older, transports child to and from activities and plans the child\'s daily schedule. Light cleaning, cooking, housekeeping, and laundry for the child. Prepare grocery shopping list. The job will remain only in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts and the employee is required to reside with the employer in the home during the period of employment. Room and board will be provided by the employer including self-care toiletries, access to laundry, and transportation. Cost to maintain room and board will be deducted from weekly paycheck. Requirements: Minimum 2 years consistent previous experience as a Nanny or Babysitter Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children Multitasking skills A pleasant and patient personality Availability to work in shifts and sometimes during weekends. First Aid Certification a plus.
