Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in delivering comprehensive nursing care, health maintenance, and patient education. This role demands both direct and indirect patient care responsibilities, with a focus on optimizing patient functioning and comfort. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of departmental needs and long-term growth goals, show initiative, and possess critical thinking and leadership skills.
Position Highlights:
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for all new full-time RNs
Schedule: Full-time, with standard hours and evening, weekend, and holiday rotations
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Utilize sound clinical judgment to triage patients effectively. Manage medication refills with proper provider authorization. Document patient histories, assessments, plans, and treatments accurately.
Team Collaboration: Participate in the orientation and training of new employees. Provide input on developing orientation plans and professional growth opportunities. Support and guide other team members, fostering a culture of acceptance and collegiality.
Patient Interaction: Communicate professionally and respectfully with patients and families. Recognize and address the safety needs of the patient population.
Administrative Duties: Engage in transition of care, recalls, high-risk management, in-basket management, and vaccine administration. Adhere to protocols for managing chronic/acute conditions and patient transitions.
Participation: Actively contribute to NeighborHealth programs, committees, and departmental meetings. Share knowledge with the team and embrace change and new ideas.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. RN licensure in Massachusetts. BLS certification required. Bilingual skills are a plus.
Experience: At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience in a community health or ambulatory care setting preferred.
Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with Windows-based computer systems preferred.

Pay:
Starts at $35.58 up to $55.14 depending on experience
