Maloney Properties, Inc. Leasing & Occupancy Manager in Dorchester & Roxbury, Massachusetts
The Leasing & Occupancy Manager will oversee the residential leasing operations for multiple properties in the Dorchester and Roxbury, MA area with 360 units. Responsibilities also include supervision of administrative staff, certifying new applicants, leasing of vacant units, audit support, compliance oversight, conducting move out inspections, coordinating turnovers with the maintenance staff, preparing reports, maintaining the applicant waitlists, and recertifying current residents as needed. The work hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The deadline-driven nature of this position may require evening and weekend work, as needed.
Leasing and recertification experience is required. Experience must include strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and computer skills with MS Office. Experience with Section 8 (Project Based & Mobile) and LIHTC programs are required. Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), and/or C3P designation is preferred. Knowledge of Yardi is a plus. A valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is required.
