Robert Half Property Administrator in Dorchester, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Property Administrator in Dorchester, Massachusetts. This role involves an almost equal split of office and on-the-road duties. The successful candidate will be interested in learning Real Estate and will have the opportunity to assist in Property Management tasks, including managing move-in and move-out packages, opening doors, and handling in-office paperwork.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in Property Management tasks as required

• Handle move-in and move-out packages for market rate units

• Take pictures of units for record keeping and marketing purposes

• Open doors for property viewings and inspections

• Handle in-office paperwork related to property management

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook, for data management and correspondence

• Drive to various locations as part of job duties (stipend provided for driving)

• Facilitate smooth transitions for property tenants

• Assist in the administration of Property Management tasks

• Learn and adapt to the evolving needs of the Real Estate industry. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of Property Administrator or a similar role.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook is required.

• Strong correspondence skills, with the ability to draft and edit professional emails and letters.

• Demonstrated experience in property management, including handling tenant relations, overseeing facility maintenance, and managing property budgets.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.

• Knowledge of property management laws and regulations is beneficial.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and achieving goals.

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, is essential.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must have a professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or a related field would be advantageous.
