Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Deerfield, Massachusetts. This role is situated within the industry and requires a detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for processing payments, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for payments such as parking tickets, fees, taxes, and parking permits.

• Handle customer inquiries and provide prompt and accurate responses.

• Utilize software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to process invoices and maintain accounts payable and receivable.

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.

• Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain customer records.

• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate parties or provide the information required.

• Monitor customer accounts and initiate action when necessary.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize data and generate reports.

• Assist in other accounting duties as needed.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Knowledge of Billing procedures

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Ability to process Invoices efficiently

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle software

• Experience in using QuickBooks software

• Knowledge of SAP software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
