Aston Carter Patient Services Advisor in Dartmouth, Massachusetts

Description:

You will report to the Manager or Team Leader and coordinate, schedule, and complete registration for ambulatory outpatient visits. As the face of the company, you will be responsible for collecting patient demographic and insurance information, verifying and communicating any patient liabilities, and collecting clinical information in response to scheduling questions. Occasionally, expect to answer non-scheduling requests, or transfer patients to the department that they’re attempting to reach.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma, GED, or Associates Degree (preferred)

  • Previous call center or similar high volume customer service experience is highly preferred

  • Data entry skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to listen and document simultaneously is required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and genuine service-orientation required

  • Previous experience with electronic health records will set you up for success
