Aerotek Senior Test Technician in Danvers, Massachusetts
• Perform tests, calibrations, and alignment checks per detailed procedures, makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as required and reports data in a prescribed format. • Confers with engineering personnel to resolve fabrication problems relating to specifications and review test plans. • Prepares specifications for fabrication, assembly and installation of apparatus and control instruments used to test experimental or prototype products. • Assist engineers in developing production processes. • Perform in-process and final inspections. • Read/interpret test procedures, detailed schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, bills of material and engineering change notices. • Packaging of completed product. • Revise or clarify production procedures as problems are identified. • Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, GMP and FDA regulations.

Requirements: • AS in a technical field preferred • 4 years of related work experience desired. Medical device experience preferred. • Understanding of electronic theory required • Ability to troubleshoot to the component level and follow complex instructions • Must possess the ability to perform electrical testing, utilize maintenance practices and procedures, and equipment operation • Ability to apply principles of electronics theory, instructs others in problem resolution, and generates process instructions • Knowledge of lean, six sigma, kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives a plus. • Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervision. • Computer literacy required, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP desired
